The Chelsea Champions Programme organised two rounds of fixtures for the EFDN Community Champion League which consisted of 6 teams recruited from the 3 London Chelsea Champions Schools (2 teams from each school) within Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster.
On each match day each team played each other once with bonus points awarded by our officials who were St Mary’s University students for acts of good sportsmanship.
Each game was played in the right spirit and all games were competitive, with only 3 points separating the top four teams.
Congratulations to Fulham College Boys B who were crowned winners over the 2 match days only losing 2 games and getting good points on sportsmanship and professionalism across most games. Chelsea Academy A only came second by 3 points and fully deserve to take their place in the finals.
Despite not winning any many games Chelsea Academy B showed great spirit in all their fixtures as well as maintaining good sportsmanship and respect to the officials and opposition.
Well done to all teams that competed in a great tournament we are very much looking to finals day at Stamford Bridge.
